Common questions
What is a property requirement?
It is the mirror image of a listing. Instead of describing a property you have, you describe the one you want — locality, budget, configuration and the preferences that matter to you — and sellers with something matching can reach out.
Does it cost anything?
No. Posting a requirement on LandKhoj is free, and there is no commission on anything you end up buying.
Do I have to fill in every field?
No. Only the property type and the locality are needed. Every other answer offers a "No Preference" option, so you only narrow the search where you actually have a preference.
Can I ask for more than one option?
Yes. Facing, open sides, furnishing and floor number all accept several answers at once, so "North or East facing" and "any of floors 3 to 6" are both things you can say.
Who can see my requirement?
It gets its own page under Requirements, where sellers browse. You choose on the last step whether verified agents may contact you as well as sellers.
Can I change it after posting?
Yes. Your requirement stays editable from My Account, so you can widen the budget or add a locality whenever your search changes.
Do I need an account?
Yes, so your requirement stays attached to you and responses reach you. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to before the first step.
