About Budaun: Budaun is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Budaun was the most important post of Northern Frontier during Mughal reign. Budaun district is a part of Bareilly division. It is the heart of Rohilkhand. Budaun is quite an old city of the Rohilkhand region in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh near Delhi India. The city came to known as a centre for Islamic Knowledge. Budaun used to be an important military outpost under the Mughals. Jama Masjid, which is internationally reckoned as the Great Mosque, is in Budaun and attracts many tourists every year.
