Bulandshahr is a city and municipal board in Bulandshahr district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is administrative headquarters of Bulandshahr district. According to the  government of India, the district Bulandshahr is one of the minority Concentrated indicators and basis amenities indicators. The district of Bulandshahr is located in Meerut region with headquarters at Bulandshahr city. the Ganga  separates it Moradabad and Badaun district and river Yamuna separates the district from Haryana state and Delhi. This is one of the major grains producing districts of Uttar Pradesh. Sugarcane, wheat, maize and potato are cultivated in  plenty. Small scale industries include local handicrafts, potteries and other artistic things. Cotton cloth printing is popular craft. Potteries of Khurja are world famous .
