Daporijo is a census town in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Upper Subansiri district. Daporijo is located at an elevation of 600 m above sea level. It is the headquarters of Upper Subansiri district situated by the side of the Subansiri River. Daporijo is a small scenic town where one can see suspension bridges over Subansiri River made from bamboo and cane - a testimony of rich tribal craftsmanship.
