Korba is a city and an industrial area in Korba district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Korba is the power capital of the newly forms state of Chhattisgarh. The district comes under Bilaspur division and inhabited mainly tribals including the protect Korwa people. Korba is offen reffered as the Industrial hub of Chhatisgarh. The district possesses the coal water necessary for power generation while four power terminal plant. Korba district situated in the northern half of the Chhatisgarh state and surrounded by the district Korea, Surguja, Bilaspur.
