Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport: The main airport which serves Ayodhya is Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport (IATA code: AYJ), situated close to NH-27 and NH 330, at Naaka in Faizabad district of the same state. It is about eight kilometres from Ayodhya city.

IndiGo Airlines: IndiGo has launched flights to cities in India such as New Delhi and Ahmedabad, which connects Ayodhya.
New Delhi to Ayodhya: On December 30, 2023 the first flight from New Delhi to Ayodhya commenced followed by regular scheduled services launched on January 6th , The flight IX2789 departed at 11 am from New Delhi, arriving in Ayodhya by 12: 20 pm. The return flight, IX 1769, leaves Ayodhya at 12:50 pm, arriving at New Delhi by 2:10pm.

Ahmedabad to Ayodhya: Ahmedabad to Ayodhya flights are scheduled three times a week.

Air India Express: This airline also has daily direct flights between New Delhi and Ayodhya from January 16,2024.

Ayodhya Airport’s terminal incorporates a fusion of the traditional and modern, with Shikaras on its roof in addition to columns decorated by depictions taken from Ramayana.
