Rajasthan is the largest state of India and also one of the oldest states of the country, it is located in the north-west of India. Its capital city is Jaipur, located on the state's eastern side. The state is bordered by Pakistan to the west, Gujarat to the south-west, Madhya Pradesh to the south-east, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to the north-east and Punjab to the north. The Thar Desert and the Aravalli Range are geographic features of Rajasthan.
How to reach Rajasthan
Air: Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur have airports that are connected to major cities. However if you are travelling to Rajasthan from a small city, you will have to take the route via Delhi.
Rail: Rajasthan is well connected on the vast network of Indian railways. Express, superfast and mail trains go on regular scheduled runs to other major cities.
Road: Rajasthan is connected by well-maintained National Highways to the neighboring states of Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Rajasthan roadways buses run regular and deluxe coaches to these states.
Real Estate
Rajasthan also known for its rich wildlife, sand dunes and rich heritage, has attracted heavy investments from real estate, power and infrastructure segments in the recent years. Nowadays, experiencing an unprecedented real-estate boom in Rajasthan. With saturation setting in the metros, the real action is now heating up in emerging cities.
