Rewari City

Rewari is a city and a municipal  council in Rewadi district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located in south -west Haryana 82 km from old Delhi and 51 km from Gurgaon. Rewadi receive s an average annual precipitation of about 533mm. Rewari  is a biggest city in terms of  area in the district. The major languages that are spoken in the city by the local people are in Hindi  and Haryanvi . The most favored festival of Rewari is the festival of teej. Rewari is famous for its brass metal work and is also known as brass hub of India along with the city of Moradabad. The major tourist attractions of Rewari are Rewari railway museum,  Delhi Gate that is one of the four historic British period  gates and Rewari town hall.
